Description
The Quest Radical is one of a kind. This is a bow that can go from youth all the way up to an adult, thanks to its huge range.
This is one of Quest’s finest. It is highly versatile, it can fit just about any archer, including season hunters, beginner archers, and target sports archers.
The Quest Radical is one of the ultra-adjustable compound bows. It has a massive poundage spectrum that ranges from 15 to 70 pounds.
The draw length on this masterpiece can be adjusted from 17.5 to 30 inches, which really spans the spectrum of anyone interested in this bow.
Material and Design
The riser of the Quest Radical is engineered from 6061 aluminum, which has unique structural toughness and strength. Not to mention that it is not affected by humidity.
The aluminum handle has twelve large cutouts that not only reduce the impact of wind at full draw but also reduce the bow’s weight significantly.
Another impressive design feature of the Quest Radical is the split limbs. They help reduce stress, vibration, and cam lean.
The heavy-duty limb pockets attach to the limbs in a semi-parallel way at the upper poundage spectrum, creating a sufficient and easy to shoot platform.
The near parallel limb pocket attachment increases brace height (7.125”) between the bow’s grip and the string’s nocking point.
This mechanism slows arrow speed by keeping the arrow on the string a little longer, giving the string more time to guide the arrow to the desired target.
It also comes with a rubber composite grip that has superior insulating properties for shooting in cold weather.
Cam Information
The dual yoke cam system that comes with the Quest Radical is very nicely adjustable. It offers you a 12.5” draw length adjustment that ranges from 17.5” to 30”.
Apart from the impressive let-off of 75%, the dual yoke cam system only needs an Allen wrench for easy and stress-free adjustment.
The level nock travel of this cam system offers your arrows straight, smooth, and level flight at an exceptional IBO speed of 295 FPS.
The eccentric system also requires low maintenance and shorter strings. This allows you to have a sturdily anchored peep sight.
Suitability for Hunting
The Quest Radical provides you with a little bit longer brace height and a little bit shorter bow length, providing you with a very forgiving hunting bow.
If you like hunting from ground blinds or tree stands, the 29.25-inch axle to axle length is ideal. The compact design of the Quest Radical makes it highly maneuverable.
But what makes this bow a hunting masterpiece is the smooth dual cam system. With every draw length adjustment, you get little dead pull and holds pretty well at the valley.
You should expect a mushy back wall, but it is something that you can easily sort out with time and practice.
Another feature that really impressed us during our shooting test is the lightweight platform of the Quest Radical. It allows you to hold for extended periods at full draw.
Suggested Arrows
To make the most of this unique bow, we recommend carbon express arrows, which give you greater accuracy and added arrow velocity.
The ideal size for most shooters is 250 with a weight tolerance of +/- 2.0 grains, and a straightness of +/- .003 inches.
You should also look for arrows with a diamond coat finish because they give stealth performance on the arrow rest.
We also have a detailed guide that will shade more light on your arrow selection.

- Super easy to adjust eccentric system
- Cutout aluminum riser reduces wind impact and overall bow weight

The bow’s ready to hunt package includes: a 4-pin sight, an ¼-inch G5 meta peep, a G5 wrist sling, a G5 stabilizer, a Halo rest, a 6-arrow quiver, and a string suppressor.
Closing Shot
This compound bow is probably G5’s most successful invention. It is a one size fits all, thanks to its ultra-adjustability.
Apart from the extreme draw length adjustment, we were truly impressed by Quest Radical massive poundage and sufficient let-off.
This is incredible. Anybody can shoot this bow, from a six-year-old to an adult. The lightweight platform will allow a kid to hold at full draw for longer.
It’s an exceptional choice for beginners and professionals alike.
