Regardless of how many great compound bows you have hunted with, you will certainly admire the physical structure and performance of the SAS Feud.
It is one of the smoothest as well as best feeling hunting bow we have come across. This masterpiece is designed to transform your bow hunting experience.
It comes with easy to adjust draw weight and length. Tuning won’t be much of an issue as it is with ordinary models.
The included features are ideal for both beginners and experts, including 19-31” draw length, 25-70 lbs. draw weight, 300 FPS IBO speed, and a let-off of 70-80%.
Material & Design
Out of the box, the SAS Feud looks pretty well made. According to the design, you can effectively adjust it without a press.
The flexible split limbs are made from durable material that allows for precise shooting, stability, and superior comfort with excellent arrow speed.
Split limb design is less susceptible to hand shock, and they are fast flight compatible. You can place consecutive shots without any problem.
The SAS Feud limb pockets are highly adjustable. Made from heavy-duty material, the split limb pockets boost incredible turns of limb bolt adjustability.
What is probably most impressive about the structure of this bow is the riser, which is well-machined for additional strength.
The riser is equipped with a non-slip grip, which is really basic. It doesn’t have a lot of contour to it, but you can improve its comfort with padding.
The handle is also incorporated with numerous cutouts, which reduce the weight of the bow significantly. The cutouts also help to absorb vibration, allowing for more stability.
The SAS Feud twin cam system is designed to offer an incredible draw length adjustment, and the ability to dramatically increase the draw weight through a simple grow-with-you setting.
The adjustments are simple, each hole indicates a half inch draw length adjustment with the low setting at 19 inches and the high setting at 31 inches.
Unlike ordinary cam systems, the one integrated on this masterpiece allows you to load a large amount of kinetic energy into the bow.
As such, the SAS Feud is typically faster (can achieve arrow speeds of up to 300 FPS) than other cam combinations.
Suitability for Hunting
It comes highly recommended for hunting. Every feature that comes with this bow is tailored towards a superb hunting experience.
For example, the twin cam system offers the smoothest draw length adjustment of 12 inches. This mechanism helps to conveniently increase the draw weight.
Draw weight adjustability from 25 to 70 pounds accommodates most archers, including youths, women, and men.
The combination of cutout riser and split limb design eliminates hand shock. This ensures more stability and accurate shot placement.
The only thing that may not be exceptionally suitable for some hunters is the grip. It does not have well-defined contours. You may want to buy some padding for additional comfort.
As much as the split limb design helps to minimize hand shock, it is not entirely immune to vibrations and noise. You may have to use vibration dampeners.
SAS recommends 30-inch aluminum or carbon arrows for this bow, which are suitable for field shooting and bow hunting.
We suggest that you settle for arrows made of the best carbon material for the consistent spine and high strength.
The perfect arrows should have a straightness of +/-.003 inches, and they should be fitted with a collar for durability.
